The 3 Avatars rebuilt

Recently Menno Ophelia aka Menno DX rebuilt The 3 Avatars and it looks awesome! It was about time to have some mayor improvements when it comes to design. Right now it is one of the best build cafe's in SL. Coordinates in place and beautiful graphics.


Also the interior had some big improvements. A lot of old blues and jazz posters make it look very warm and colorful.



Jazz, blues and rock is at the moment the most played music in The 3 Avatars. A couple of week from now Groningen Centrum will be taken over again by its founder, Ivo Krupinski. This means Groningen will go back from four to one island and some Groningen location will disappear. This means we will also have some DJ events in The 3 Avatars, but they will also mostly play jazz, blues and rock records. It will also be be possible to rent The 3 Avatars for bachelor parties and other events.

A new Group has been created for The 3 Avatars so music lovers can stay up to date on live music events without getting bothered by other notices. Join and come over to chat, dance and listen to some great music.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, she cut her teeth on folk, lost her innocence to rock, and came of age with country. Her writing today reflects different country styles from pop to soul. In 2006 she moved from "the land of 10 thousand lakes," to Nashville, Tennessee, "the land of 10 thousand songwriters," to focus on her writing 100%. When asked to describe her own music she'd tell you it will groove, bruise and move ou...it's a real mix of country twang with fangs! If you ask her who her influences are, you will be surprised to learn she has a love for nearly every imaginable genre of music, and they all come through in her writing. They range from bonnie raitt, joni mitchell, carly simon, linda rondstat, sheryl crow, waylon jennings and the outlaws, emmylou harris, bobbie gentry and dusty springfield, elvis costello, jonatha brooke, lyle lovett, the beatles, patsy cline, billie holliday and all the old jazz standards, and she says, "now there are so many new country influences too numerous to mention..." Her roots are in advertising were she spent her career as a graphic desiger, creative director and copywriter. Her passion for music developed at an early age and continued through the years until she could dedicate herself to her true calling, songwriting. Now her time is spent in co-writing sessions, working on demos of her songs in a Nashville recording studio, and performing live in Second Life on a regular basis, under the avatar pseudonym: MOONDOGGIRL MOOMINTOOG.

Talented singer and accoustic guitar player, play list includes: The Beatles, Rolling Stones , Eric Clapton, The Who, etc., to more modern covers such as Cast and The Zutons.
He can usually be seen playing in the Rotterdam bar in Snakeshead, the Forest stage and the Newman Rhodehouse which he built himself.
Originally known in SL as a watercolour artist, he recently broke into the SL music scene.

In RL Mash is a resident of Dublin Ireland.

Jaggpro is an Australian Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist with many years Live performance. He performs Rock / Folk / Blues and many styles of popular tunes from the 70's onwards plus a good selection of his own originals. He has his own percussive style of acoustic guitar work and loves to party hard with his wonderful audiences. He also plays Blues and Folk Harmonica Styles.

Kim's musical style and personal sound is well suited for high energy country rock, and this where she shines and has the most fun. Her dynamic voice will have your heart singing with joy, and your feet dancing out of control. Polished and clean, with excellent range and emotional power, Kim's performance will take you away.

Kim's musical roots trace all the way back to childhood. Growing up in a musical family, she began singing almost before she could talk. She created her first (rock) band at the tender age of 15, and by 16, was singing hit Country tunes at the local VFW club on weekends. Kim has been singing with a variety of bands ever since, but due to frequent moves, has not been able to lay permanent or long term claim with any one group.

After coming to Second Life and being inspired by the many talented and wonderful entertainers she has met and witnessed here, it became apparent that an opportunity for her to fullfil her own dream of singing could still come true. Second Life and technology provide a medium where relocation and permanent physical venue's are not an issue, and Kim can now attend to the duties of a demanding personal and family life, entertain us in SL, and enjoy what she loves doing so much.
